Delete Account

To delete your FindMyNganya account and all associated data, please send an email to [email protected] with your account email address.

What to Include

• Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
• Your Email: The email registered with FindMyNganya
• Confirmation: State that you want to delete your account and personal data

What We'll Delete

• Your account profile and personal information (including name, email, and phone number)
• Location history and tracking data
• Chat messages and community posts
• Ratings and reviews
• Saved routes and preferences
• Your Finds wallet balance
• All other data linked to your account, except records we are required to keep by law (see below)

What We May Retain

We may keep a limited set of records where the law requires or permits it — for example, payment and transaction records kept for financial, tax, and anti-fraud compliance, and minimal records needed to prevent abuse or resolve disputes. Any retained records are kept only as long as necessary and are not used to re-identify you for other purposes.

Timeline

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account is deleted. Please note that after deletion, your account cannot be recovered.
